I feel in a bit of an inspirational mood and I haven't blogged in a while so I figured it best if I did another. With the end of another year coming round I felt as though I needed to do a bit of a summary of the year and it's ins and outs.
Worth
The big decision of is something 'worth it' or not. We find ourselves asking this question more times than is sensible and we always seem to know immediately the answer is yes but then we continue to ignore that we know the answer and seek consolation in others. Why? Just human nature I guess. Isn't it that your first instinct is always right though? Why not just live off that. Whatever you think, you do. Whatever you do, you become. Whatever you become, will be great. It's a huge leap really, to try and trust yourself when so often we seem to stuff up some of the most simple things. But faith in yourself really can go a long way. Not just for you, but for others too.
Do it.
My best mate and I have thing saying which is our push point. If one of us is too scared to do something well then, "you only live once". After getting back in the car after buying red rooster from a very cute checkout chick, the question was thrown out if he should go back and get her number. My response was, "You only live once" Really, a dumb move on my part because now he uses it against me anytime I don't want to do anything. It is really such a great pressure point though. Not just with girls, but with anything in life that you're a little scared of. Fair chance that anything that involves a bit of risk, is scary. That's what makes a risk, a risk. Life is far too short to be worrying about risks. Fuck risks. Stop thinking, start doing. If you make it out the other side, alive, even if you are slightly damaged that's a win in my books. Take away the knowledge, experience, memories and forget the rest.
Regret
Such an ugly word. Such a shitty word. In your life, you should have zero regrets. But really the chances of that happening are next to nothing. You will have some regrets. If you don't then you're amazing and you really do deserve a medal. Having regrets is normal, just so long as you don't have any huge ones. When life offers you a huge chance, a huge possibility TAKE IT. For god's sake. It might not be the best, but it's a chance to do something! When you get offered a chance or an experience just think to yourself, if I say no, how much will I regret this? How much? Pissed off tomorrow? Or really really really reaaaallyy pissed off on my death bed?
The Importance of the Smallest Things
We don't always notice how important some of the smallest things are. Not always to us, but to other people. Sometime to people we don't even know. I'm not going to go into any depth other than the fact that sometimes the smallest things make the biggest difference. It's the butterfly effect. Be conscious of your choices and decisions.
Shit.
There are times in life when everything is just shit. Your partners shit, your family's shit, and everything else, also turns to shit. It sucks. But really there is nothing you can do. As hard as it it, you have to put on a brave face and keep going. Know that you're strong and you can get through anything. That brings me to the next point of people.
People
There are some amazing people in the world, some wicked wicked people. People that are just so cool and you love so much. But you have to have balance in the world. For all the awesome people there are just as many shit people. People you wish you had never met and avoid at all costs. You take the good with the bad though. Enjoy all the good times with the people you love and the times you're stuck with people you hate and treat you like shit. Forget them. Move on. Remember the good times. If you're one of those stupid stupid people who seem to surround yourself with wankers, stop. Seriously, hang out with dirt. Be treated like dirt.
Things you don't know
You can't know everything, despite how hard you try. Some things are even better if you don't know. But in regards to the things you don't know, always assume the best. The glass is always half full, never half empty. If you don't know the truth then it's up to your imagination in the meantime to work it out. So why not have it be good rather than bad?
Try
Try. Try again. Try try again. And again and again. Sometimes all you can think is why the fuck do I bother? But whatever your reason is for trying in the first place, is your reason to keep trying. Again and again. Things.. take time. Like say, relationships. Especially relationships. Holy shit is it frustrating sometimes, but the wait is always worth the end result. Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end yet.
Never
Never turn away a good chance.
Never say 'no' to anything because you're scared.
Never be scared.
Never give up.
Never let anyone stop you from doing what you want to do.
Never let life pass you by, lose chances or waste time because life is too short for any of that. Live your life as you want, enjoy it, ignore risks and take every bloody chance you get.

More of the same shit.
Repetitive. Frustrating.
Boring. Shit.
Same. Lame.
Again. No.
The same things over and over and over and over and over and over and over. Again and again and again and again and again and again. How do you do it? Why?
Because, it's just what you do. You fall off, you get back on the horse. Why? The horse is WILD. Well, it's your job to tame it. Get your ass back on it and go for gold. Try again. Till in the end you've either perfected it or, just not as shit as you were at the start. Any improvement, is still an improvement.
You're confused right? I've just talked more shit than my ass. But it's a reminder. A constant reminder. The most important things in life are easily forgotten and lost. Treasure them and remember them. You'll live a fuller live for it. I think. You've got to have some kind of plan, or strategy I guess to get through everyday. Like a philosophy.
What is your philosophy? What motto do you live by? What are those few words that help you get by in the hard times? Most people have a philosophy or two, that helps them get by day to day.
I feed off as many as I can, like a thing that.. feeds.. off stuff. Really unless you are an amazing philosopher, you're not going to have one that applies for every situation. I have my main 5, that I think I can apply to nearly all situations.
1. Fuck it, you only live once.
2. Who the hell cares what anyone else thinks? Just look into your heart and do whatever the hell makes you happy. (Why yes, this is from Scrubs.)
3. Live every moment, no regrets.
4. Seize the day.
5. Life is short, break the rules.
While they're all different (and super tacky), they all output the same underlying message really. Life is short, take every chance, seize every moment. I'm sure you'll end up with a fair few bruises, scratches, heartbreaks and let downs. But in the ends it's always worth it to say you had a crack at it, you gave it a go and you did it like a beast.
I don't know when I'll clock off this world, hopefully not too soon, but to die and say I regretted something? I'd be a very very unhappy person for eternity. You are given a chance, don't wimp out. If it's something that's hurt you, or let you down before. Like a relationship? You've got to try again, you CAN NOT give up, ever.
You get fired, you get a new job.
You crash your car, you buy a new one.
Your pet dies, you get a new one.
You got shot, you heal.
You get heartbroken? You heal, move one and try again.
You can't really say 'get a new one' because the others are all so materialistic. The last two are different.
Just promise me you'll never give up on things? Especially not on anyone? ESPECIALLY a mate. Always, pull through for your mates.
Really,
What's the point then? If you give up?
Why bother at all? Don't put in a half-ass, piss-weak effort.
Go hard or go home.
You always hear, that some people are 'strong' people. They're not really that amazing!
Well they are, but no more amazing that you are. Just try to use your full potential. It's hard, it really is. Sometime, you just don't have the effort and you don't give a shit. But 90% of the time, give it everything you've got and it'll pay off. I guarantee you. k?

The Most.
I thought about this one for a while. I was at work and I wrote down a series of random words, sayings and philosophies. I thought they'd be good topics. So here is a very disorganized and unstructured blog about the most important things I know and have learnt.
Do what YOU want to do.
Son: I want to fly a kite.
Father: Don't be silly, you'll lose the kite. The wing is much too strong!
Son: I will fly my kite and magical it will be!
The son flies his kite for hours, then loses it in the winds.
Father: I told you, silly boy.
Son: I've never had more fun flying my kite, all good things come to an end.
This kid, however fictional and made up to create a point, is a smart kid. He takes a risk with his kite. He knows, full well, that he may lose his kite. Regardless, he flies it and god damn it does he have a good time! He takes a risk and it pays off, for a while. Then it flops. He does the smart thing and looks on the bright side. Remembers the wicked time he had and knows that all good things come to and end and to treasure the memory. I really hope you're understanding the message in this because otherwise I might come across as a bit odd.
Beginnings + Endings.
Everything has a beginning and an ending. You may not agree that it's a good saying but it is truthful, 'All good things come to an end'. And not just good things, everything really. Everything ends, everything dies at some stage. As much as it sucks to thing about it, it shouldn't make you sad. It should empower and motivate you. People die, it is the impossible fact. Every second of every minute, every minute of every hour, every hour of every day, every day of every week you spend with them should be amazing. You should spend the time however you wish, but making sure not to waste a second of it. It really doesn't hit you, until you experience a death and it smacks you right in the face. On the day of my formal, when we were allowed to go home early, I went with another mate, to the funeral of a two year old boy. Nothing I have ever seen in my life, has stuck with me for so long and been such a constant reminder of how precious life is.
Happiness.
Is the best feeling. It should be felt, by everyone, everyday. There is time for sadness, granted, but happiness should never leave you. It's a sort of background emotion. It's covered by other emotions, but somehow it's always there. There are so many things in life that knock you down, piss you off, annoy you but you have to be as strong as you can be. Forget them, in the past. Gone, over it, done. You have no reason to be unhappy. You're alive, you're gorgeous and you're amazing. Smile dammit.
Simple Pleasures.
Life is so strange sometimes. The weirdest little things can sometimes make you the happiest. Treasure those things. People find happiness in so many different things, going for a run, eating food, playing Mario kart, WHATEVER. It really doesn't matter. It's your thing and if it makes you happy and you enjoy it then go for it.
Character.
I saw this on a friends facebook. I like it, a lot.
"The best thing about a picture
Is that it never changes
Even when the people in it do"
Everything you do defines who you are as a person and defines your character. Remember that.
Judgment.
It's such an obscure subject. We really shouldn't judge, but we can't help it. It's human nature. I suppose if anything, we should try to judge fairly. Take into account our own faults and failures before we judge others. Such a hard thing to do, so let's try and avoid it yeh?
Life, is far too short, Live like there is no tomorrow.
Time flies. Things happen before you know it. Things change like crazy. Life every moment, every second, everything fucking chance you get. Don't waste it. Don't be a fool. Someone's throwing you a line, take it.
The grass is greener.
Apparently, the grass is greener on the other side. Go figure? Stuff going to the otherside, I'm going to work my ass off and I'm going to make this place into glowing green pastures somehow.
Life, is whatever you make it out to be.
LIFE.
IS.
YOURS.
You have the power to do whatever you want.
You can be amazing if you try! No, you already are amazing.
You are wicked.
You are the best.
You are a champion.
You live here.
You live now.
You live today.
Go and live life, to the full.
No regrets, no looking back.
GO.
Do what YOU want to do.

Believe.
There are defining moments in life.
Singular moments which can change everything.
In the blink of an eye.
Everything you know,
Can change.
This moment can make you,
or break you.
Define you,
or destroy you.
Craft you,
or kill you.
These amazing 'moments' creep up on us, always at an unwilling time. Never excepted, always out of the blue. Where are you? You're standing in the middle of the highway dodging cars, or at least that's how you feel anyway. Things are a mess, you don't know what to do and you're unsure of the outcome. How, how, ho,w how, HOW do you get through that?
Well that's entirely up to you to be honest. I strongly believe that good things come to those who wait. If you don't believe then you've got no hope at all. Believing is the key in life.
If you believe, then you can do anything. You can do anything.
Hey, you can do anything. Do you know what's cool? Doing anything. Always fun.
But really, if you put your mind to it and you try hard enough
You.
Can.
Do.
Anything!
Don't ever let anyone put you down or tell you otherwise. People are pathetic, tired of their own existence so they like to try and bring other people down and torture them. Be the better person, forgive and forget. No-one's perfect. God knows I'm not.
People seems to use the expression 'sweeping things under the rug' as a common expression. They make it out like it's always a bad thing. Sometimes, it's the best thing. One of my best mates, we get along no worries but we've had a few fights and arguments. You know what we've done every time? Said how we both feel about it, then we forget it. It makes sense. Why bother wasting time, losing mates over some of the pettiest stuff imaginable? Forget it, stop wasting time, Live life.
Anyway, back to believing. Belief is such a powerful word. I believe in you. It's just a really powerful word, you can't escape it. Believe.
I believe in karma.
I believe in justice.
I believe in equality.
I believe in truth.
I believe in love.
I'm bearing my soul here for you, be grateful. What do you believe in? Whatever it is, don't ever, ever forget it. Never stop believing because someone tells you to. Be a strong person. Believe whatever you wish and anyone quick to question you clearly jealous of your super strong personality. People are always impressed by a strong person. Strong people are empowering and inspiring.
Whenever you hear the story of a strong person who has done something amazing. You feel like you can do something amazing as well. Like you can have a huge impact on the world. Like you can make mass changes!
YOU CAN.
Believe in yourself. Don't look at those people and say 'wow'. Look at those people and say 'Fuck yeh, I can do that' Say it. Believe it. Do it.
I want to share this with you. This inspired me more than I can explain.
Dick and Rick Hoyt are a father-and-son team from Massachusetts who together compete just about continuously in marathon races. And if they're not in a marathon they are in a triathlon — that daunting, almost superhuman, combination of 26.2 miles of running, 112 miles of bicycling, and 2.4 miles of swimming. Together they have climbed mountains, and once trekked 3,735 miles across America.
Its a remarkable record of exertion — all the more so when you consider that Rick can't walk or talk.
How's that for perspective? When your life get's though. Think about that. You find your own motivation, your own inspiration. Go and live your life, no regrets. Just live.

Moment.
In each single, individual moment there are choices to be made. In all of them, every one. Most moments pass us by as insignificant useless ones, which some of them are but some are more important that you can ever imagine.
People talk of 'defining moments' or moments which define who you are as a person or character. All moments, every second of your life is defining you. Every choice you make, from the second you take your first breath of air. You are defining who you are.
Growing up, we've all heard something along the lines of what we do defines what kind of adult we become. Whats that to say we don't change? We can't change? No. We change constantly. You are never the same person. I'd say each day you wake up you are a different variation of the same person. However small, you are varied in some way. So you don't grow into being one person. You grow into a varying person.
Back to moments however. The moments that you share with others are the most crucial. The ones with your mates in particular. You make the wrong decision with a mate, just one, you can stuff up things endlessly. There are times, being human, when all you need is a mate to just be there and just be a mate. True mates, know you need them and they'll stand by you and be there. You might consider your mates true mates but when it really comes time for them to pull through, they don't. That is one of the most frustrating things in the world.
Then you get the people who aren't really all that close to you, but they can tell that you need a friend and they'll be there for you. Despite the fact your not very close with them at all. They are the real people to keep in your life. In the moment, they see the problem and see what needs to be done and they do it. The best kind of people. The mate to everyone.
Having an argument with someone. Crucial, crucial moments. If you say the wrong thing, they'll burn you. If you slip it to far, you lose a mate. Arguments suck, especially over petty little things. At the end of the day, if it's over nothing you need to step up. You need to be the bigger man, sort things out and apologize. It it always hard to admit you made a mistake or you stuffed up, but to admit fault is to accept your humanity. You're human, you make mistakes. Accept it, apologize and move on. If you really want to be the one to win an argument be the one to apologize. You have shown you can be the bigger man and admit fault. You win, well done.
In that moment you have to decide is arguing this really worth it? Or should I just take this on the chin and get over it. Get over it, for sure. so much easier and it's only petty anyway. So really, harden up, admit your faults you are a human and move along with it. Don't lost mates because of silly things. You can never have too many mates, collect them like kinder suprises.

Fear.
Fear. I made this blog one day and it has sat and sat, untouched as a 'draft'.
I've started a few times, so it hasn't really sat untouched. Rarely touched. I guess it's a topic that should be talked about but I just never did. Ironic.
Moving along. A friend referenced my wild tangents in blogging the other day, I'll try to stay on track. So,
Fear - be afraid or feel anxious or apprehensive about a possible or probable situation or event.
Key words? Possible and Probable. When you think of fear, you think of a moment when you have been scared. Think, well a bad outcome is only probable or possible, not definite.
Fear really coincides with chance. You might not take a chance because you fear the outcomes. OR "feel anxious or apprehensive about a possible or probable situation or event", to be dictionarilly correct. But really, how silly is that? You're going to throw away a chance, a possible once in a lifetime chance because you're scared?
You.
Are.
Pathetic.
But then again, I suppose you're human. You're off the hook. Everyone is scared of something, however small. Things people are scared of starting with the letter I...
- Igloo
- Ice skating
- Immigrants
- Incense
- Infants
- Insignificance
People talk about fear as sometimes being a irrational fear. If there can be irrational fears, how can their be rational fears? What kind of a fear is rational, really? Admittedly, fears are fears because of their outcomes. You get bitten by a spider, yes, bad things happens. You fall down a cliff, even worse things happen.
Back it up? Famous quote:
A life lived in fear, isn't really a life worth living.
If you go day in, day out scared, worried, in fear of possible outcomes; not even certain fates. How do you get by each day? Shitting bricks every moment, that's how.
You are an amazing person, people love you.
You live an amazing life everyday.
You are gifted in more ways than you know.
What's there to be afraid of? Use what you've been given, live every moment. Do. Not. Be. Scared. In fear, where can you go? Nowhere. The key to change... is to let go of fear.
If we don't change, we don't grow and if we don't grow well... we aren't really living. Fear, should not exist in your life. Fear should not control your life. Fear is a pathetic thing, a useless emotion. Discard it. I don't know what you believe happens after death, but right now you can be sure you've got this life for sure. USE IT. You've been given so many great things, opportunities and so many amazing people, you have no reason or excuse to be scared of anything whatsoever.
If you've read this blog and taken nothing from it, which I reeeeaaally hope you have. Then take this, remember this, write it down somewhere if you so wish and live by it.
Fear of failure must never be a reason not to try something.
Never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever in a hundred million years.
So, recap. What is fear again?
Fear is,
A useless emotion,
A pathetic excuse,
A waste of time,
And fear is,
Non-Existent.

Mistake.
Find me one person who hasn't and doesn't make mistakes and I'll show you ultimate perfection.
Everyone, in the world, EVERYONE makes mistakes. I really can't re-iterate that enough.
If you made the mistake, or someone else made the mistake.
REMEMBER, at the end of the day we're all human and we all make mistakes. All of us make mistakes. All of us. Everyone. Even those you might deem as 'perfect', yeh they make mistakes too.
Mistake - A wrong action attributable to bad judgment or ignorance or inattention.
A wrong action, pretty simple definition. Caused by your bad judgment, ignorance or inattention.
Your bad judgment, contributes to a lot of things usually mistakes. Bad judgment is a weird thing though. Your judgment can be affected by a fair few factors.
1. Emotions.
2. Drowsiness.
3. Alcohol.
Emotions, radical emotions are a bitch. They affect everything in your life for a short period. Your mood controls your day, your year, your life. Drowsiness, being tired changes your judgment and your motor skills strangely enough. Then there's alcohol, which takes the last 2 and totally and absolutely destroys them and makes a whole new version of bad judgment. I'm not saying don't drink. Go for it, you only live once. But remember how much it can affect your judgment and learn from your past mistakes. Learn from other peoples mistakes too, you don't have time to make them all yourself.
Then again you've got to look at the other side of things, a lot of the time someone is hurt or offended because of your mistake. If you're the one hurt, you need to remember as well that people make mistakes and think about how much you would want someone to forgive you if the situation were in opposite. You make mistakes, so do they, be forgiving.
If you are forgiven, don't beat yourself up about it. What good does it do? Shit all. If you are forgiven be happy, tread lightly, but don't punish yourself. It doesn't help, it makes stuff harder really. You need to forgive yourself.
So really a mistake is a wrong action attributable to bad judgment or ignorance or inattention. But because that's so freaking confusing.
Mistake - A wrong action caused by bad judgment usually affected by outside factors.

Stone.
As they say, "Nothing is set in stone"
But still there are some things that you really can't just drop and run away from. If 'nothing' was set in stone you could drop your entire life and everything in it and run away. Unfortunately as much as that seems like it would be an excellent solution to a lot of problems, it is impossible.
Imagine having the power to disappear completely. Never turn up to school, never show up to work, never come home, abandon your partner, desert your friends, disappear. That sounds terrible, but we've all thought about it. When stuff gets hard and things suck and people are shit you just want all your problems to disappear and you know that they won't so you think about disappearing yourself. You know you've done it, at least once.
Could you really do it though? Could you? Abandon everything your life and leave?
Tomorrow morning you wake up, go to the bank, take all the money you have, pack your bags of clothes, jump on a plane and leave. No notice, don't tell anyone, just.. leave. Leave forever? or come back? What would you tell people if you disappeared for 5 years and then just turned up out of the blue one day. What would you tell them?
"Well you know things were shit, so I left."
And really, would it be such a bad thing? Start a whole new life again. I'm sure everyone could imagine ditching their jobs quite easily but could you abandon your family and friends?
This blog is just a massive wild tangent really.
Stone. Back to things being set in stone. The saying is true, things aren't set in stone. You have the power to alter your own your own life and choose whichever path you want. Your life is in your hands really. Your choices pave the path that is 'your' life. Things are not set in stone however this does not mean you can ignore them, abandon them, destroy them.
Friendships are not set in stone, doesn't mean you can ignore them? Regardless we still do.
Relationships are not set in stone, doesn't mean you can abandon them? Regardless we still do.
Nothing is set in stone, but in the end it doesn't mean you can treat it like shit and abuse that statement.
So really, nothing is set in stone. Let's leave it at that. Nothing is set in stone, especially not your destiny. Your life is what you make of it, every decision, every chance, every risk, everything.
You, control your life.

Change.
One day I found a quote about change and everytime I think about change, I think of it.
"Without change we don't grow, and if we don't grow, well .... we aren't really living"
There is so many different definitions, so I chose my favourties.
1. To give a completely different form or appearance to; transform.
2. To lay aside, abandon, or leave for another; switch.
3. To cause to be different.
4. Something different.
5. The replacing of one thing for another.
Take the 5 and piece together the best definition? Well then,
"To abandon something, possibly for another, because of a want to be different; to transform"
I'd say that's a pretty solid sum-up of change.
Change as difficult as it can be, is always for the better. If you don't look at change as a good thing, then you live each day in fear. Change comes sometimes so rapidly and abruptly , you cannot prepare for it. You have to be ready for change and expect it at every turn.
Change hits you in a million different forms. Whether it's something irregular about your daily routine, a new outfit, an end or start in a relationship, the death of someone however close or distant, Whatever. Change hits you and it hits you hard. Sometimes it's easy to get over change, because it happens so slowly and sometimes you barley even notice. Change that hits you hard though, is tough. Especially the death of someone, it's hard to believe someone can be here one day and gone the next. At the end of that day, you've got to take a lesson from it.
You only live once, take every opportunity. Use it. Your life is, your life. Do with it what you wish.
Anyway, back to the topic of change. Changes in relationships are super hard. Most teenagers would call their friends over family any day. Losing a friend, sucks. It sucks majorly. If your friend is really a good friend they will talk to you, look after you and make sure you stay friends dammit. If people don't want to put in the time or energy to be your mate, then they're not worth your time. To find the real amazing, special people, you have to put up with the shit ones first. But in the end, it's worth it.
Same goes for relationship, relationships I guess. You've got to put up with shit ones first and a whole lot of shit before you really find the amazing ones. Or not? Maybe you get lucky and find the best one first. If you do, don't stuff it up. But at this age, you can't really tell who is the amazing ones. Take the chance though, you'll never know until you try it.
So, change..
It can go by unnoticed,
It can affect you,
It can affect your day,
It can affect your week,
It can throw your entire world upside down and stuff up everything.
But at the end of that day, whats done is done. So move one, make the best of it and live your life.

Smile Continued.
A smile is attractive.
I had a chat with a few of my mates the other day and we realized that the single most attractive thing about a girl, all else aside, is her smile. A smile is a sign of beauty, a sign of happiness.
Depressed people, angry people and sad people are no fun to be around. You pick the kind of mood people are in because of their facial expressions. If you look sad, angry or depressed people will intentionally try to avoid you. It's in our nature, if your in a good mood, you don't want to hang around with people who will kill your mood. That sucks! Buzzkill of the day.
If you see someone with a massive smile on their face, you instantly want to talk to that person, to be in their Ora. The person is a delight and all others radiate to them like a moth to light. They are a beacon of happiness and pleasantness. Their smile and their happiness makes them attractive to you. When people who are constantly sad and down are suddenly happy and smiling you realize just how cool that person really is and how much you like them.
If you had 6 girls lined up in front of you, 5 of them not smiling and 1 of them smiling like she'd just one the lotto, which one would you really want to talk to? At the end of the day, pretty girls have pretty smiles and that's why they are, you guessed it, pretty girls.
Remember to smile, it's attractive, we like it :)

Smile.
A smile, like so :)
Definied as a change one's facial expression by spreading the lips, often to signal pleasure.
A smile can be such a powerful thing. I guarantee you if you spend a whole day purposefully not smiling, you will have a shitter of a day. You smile as hard as you can, your day will be amazing, people will buy you presents, people will ask you to marry them, they will do you favors because you are just so damn happy.
Your smile is contagious. No matter what you look like, a smile spreads, like butter. HA.
But really your smile is amazing. You should smile. Why shouldn't you smile? You have no reason not to really.
Smile! Your alive!
Yes, sometimes things suck and you don't know what to think, you want to be angry, you want to be sad. But all those emotions aside, smile! Don't you hate it when your really mad or sad and you just want to be and someone you know really well says something and you just know you have to laugh? So frustrating when you break your anger/sadness wall, but after you feel great and the bad emotions pass. True mates know exactly what to say when your sad and you instantly laugh uncontrollably.
What does a smile mean to you? I asked people what a smile meant to them, these are their responses.
A smile makes you happy and fills you with warmth
A smile makes me happy.
A lot.
Happy.
Happiness, or if someone smiles at you it's a sign of acknowledgment or just that they are happy to see you.
Means happiness
I'd say they are better definitions than the original. A smile is happiness, theres no better was to put it. So brush up your pearly whites and get smiling :)

Risk
Risk - It is a scary thing. Regardless of the size of the risk. What's it mean you ask?
Risk - hazard: a source of danger; a possibility of incurring loss or misfortune.
That makes is sound shit scary.
1. It's a hazard. That makes it sound like a nuclear hazard, well scary.
2. A source of danger. DANGGGEERRRR
3. A possibility of incurring loss or misfortune. I don't want to incur loss or misfortune.
So right about now, I think I've made risks sound a lot more scarier for you. That is not my intention at all, I promise you. Risk's are good. Risk taking makes life more interesting and a little less boring. In my last post I touched on going to china spontaneously. Risk? Yes. Payed off? No.
But that's why it's a risk. You win or you lose.
You throw the dice.
You flip a coin.
You try the pokies.
And does it always pay off? No. But when you take a risk and it pays off, you've never been more glad you did something. You are confronted by risks everyday. Small risks and big risks.
Small risk? Swearing at the teacher once their back is turned.
Big risk? Jumping out of a plane at 30, 000 ft.
At this point in my life I have only undertaken 1 of those risks and seeing as how i'm such an angel, it must be number 2 right? I kid, I kid.
Risk it or don't? There is too many different situations that are risky for me really to offer you an 80% solid answer. If your going to live and not have any major life impacting issues, go for it. If you will be greatly affected and never the same, steer clear yeh?
So, risk. Is it as scary as you think? That's the ultimate question to ask yourself.
Risk - hazard: a source of danger; a possibility of incurring loss or misfortune.
Wrong.
Risk - The opportunity to dive into something unknown or different with both good and bad possible as an outcome.
Correcto.

Opportunity - a possibility due to a favorable combination of circumstances.
Ahhh lot's of big words right? Pretty much what I take away from that is an Opportunity is something life throws at you and you do or you don't. There is no in between. You either seize the day and you make something of it or you let the opportunity pass you and continue to live your life unaffected.
"Carpe Diem" Seize the day. Buy the t-shirt. Get the bumper sticker.
When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade. Really? That's ingenious.
Or do you go by Forgetting Sarah Marshall,
"When life gives you lemons, just say "Fuck the lemons" and bail."
But really use what your given, to make the most of what you've got. When you get an opportunity offered your way, use it. Don't abandon it. Someone says to you,"Hey, I'm going on a road trip to China, keen?"
What do you say? You've been offered the opportunity of a lifetime. Do you turn it down? Do you continue your studies? Do you continue your apprenticeship? Do you continue your job?
Or maybe, you bail. You go to China. You have a terrible time, everything sucks. It takes you too long to get there, you have to sleep on the streets, you come home sad, angry and embarrassed. People don't understand you for going, people laugh at you, they think your a moron. But you had an experience unlike no other. An experience you will never forget. For now, yes, you may be pissed off and angry for going but if you can look back and laugh about the whole situation then wasn't it worth it? You traveled, you went somewhere, you DID something.
When you turn down an opportunity, you never know exactly what you could be missing out on. Transformers quote: "10 years from now don't you want to be able to say you had the guts to get in the car?" You turn down the slightest opportunity could have you missing out on a great adventure, a great story and in general a great time.

Ambition and Aspiration.
(First of all this blog is dedicated to Mr. Chad West. Absolute champ.)
Ambition I feel needs to be accompanied by Aspiration.
Ambition - a cherished desire
Aspiration - a will to succeed
If you have a cherished desire, then must have a will to succeed to make your desire a reality. Righto? So step to it soldier. Get your priorities right and get moving. If you really want something, like reeeally want it, then go get it. You have no restraints other than the ones you make for yourself.
Really, that's bullshit. People say that so you feel like you can do anything, when in reality there is a lot that cannot be achieved. For example,
I will never give birth.
I will never look like a badger.
and most important,
I will never, never get to own a real life Transformer. Despite all my wishes.
But, you should still always aspire to achieve greatness. Strive to greatness yeh? You can't always come first but hey whats wrong with 2nd? 3rd? Anything else?
There's nothing wrong with being last really. It's a place, you tried. You didn't come out on top but you gave it a go and that's the main thing right. What doesn't kill us only makes us stronger.
Correct?
I pose questions at you mainly because I have my thoughts and comments on the matters I blog on but ultimately it's your decision. I can only share my thoughts and you may or may not take something away from it. I would like to think you are perhaps a little wiser?
But really, what do I know, blind leading the blind really.
Anyway, little bit off topic. Ambition and Aspiration. What is your ambition? Think about it. Obviously you have more than one ambition, if you don't your a very boring person. What are your ambitions in life? Think of them. How have you worked to accomplish these ambitions? Have you at all? Have you even partially? I know, trust me I know sometimes you think of an ambition and you think,"Is it really worth it? Really?" Well your the judge, it's your ambition. Is it worth pursuing? Personally, regardless of your ambition, I think it is. If it is an ambition of yours then it's damn well worth pursuing.
What do you aspire to? Do you aspire to be a straight A student? Do you aspire to be a nurse? Do you aspire to anything? Think about it, if you don't aspire to be something then your a nobody. A pointless.
Every day you wake up think of something, ANYTHING that is worth getting up for. Then aspire to do it, to meet it, to talk to it, to ask it out. Whatever the hell is worth getting up for in the mornings is damn worth aspiring too and is a damn fine ambition. Get out of the crevasse you've been living in and go and live your freaking life.
Honestly, who knows what happens after death? So use the one chance you've got, don't waste it.
Do whatever YOU want to do.
Be who YOU want to be.
Talk to who YOU want to talk to.
Date who YOU want to date.
Be exceptional, be amazing, be intriguing, be fun, be creative, be crazy, be awesome, be the best, be the king and never..
..ever
..ever
..ever
lose your inner child.
Your inner child should control you in respective situations. Why grow up? Do the adult things but be a child at heart. Have fun! Have a laugh!
Four things you must remember to revive your inner child,
1. Cartoons will always be cool, no matter what everyone else says.
2. Making up imaginary games with your mates and looking like dickheads, is buckets of fun.
3. Ignore what everyone else thinks, jealousy is just humane.
4. The word 'Penis' is hilarious, in every situation. Regardless. It's hilarious.
This blog has gone slightly astray from it's original topic so let's rectify.
Ambition - a cherished desire
Aspiration - a will to succeed
Unfortunately, they're spot on. You cannot perfect those definitions, they are exceptional.
My final piece of 'advice' to you is to live your life the way you want to, not how any one else does and you are great,
you are amazing,
you are you.
And that's why I love you people :)

Control.
Not the one for the telly, you fat wench.
Control as in being in power of something.
The power you may or may not possess over someone or something. For example,
You do control your computer, you make it your bitch. Except when you mistreat it an it freaks out and kills itself. That's always fun.
Same with the microwave, you keep that shit in line.
Anywhoooo back to Control.
Definition - "The power to direct or determine"
All I see in that is Power, To, Direct. And I love it. Who doesn't love being in control? Everyone finds it hard to step back and let someone else take control of something. Unless of course they are completely useless and have no idea what they are doing, so they are quite happy for you to take over. But other than that, it's hard.
If you don't want to be in control of something a lot of the time someone else will take over. Situations suck when no-one wants to be in control and someone has to balls up and do it or else it doesn't get done. A personal example from my own life is the other day me and my mates killed a man because he looked at us funny, then no-one wanted to bury the body. Those situations totally suck.
Who is the most in-control person?
Balack Obama. (That's not a typo, I just think it's hilarious.Control's pretty much the world. Anything he decides to do, can and has the power to affect the entire world. Now that's awesome.
I do think though that one of the most annoying things of all time is when someone takes control over something you are trying to do/organize. And everyone is like yep cool they are organizing that, no worries. Then some bastard has to do it their way or else they don't want to do it and they want to be at stubborn as all hell. How do you deal with such people? Especially when other people decide then also that they too, now have a problem with your control. Clearly, you have become Hitler and should stop killing people to gain back your followers.
Sheep. Everyone says they hate people who are sheeps. But secretley everyone loves them, they fall like bowling pins.
Person A: Hey man! Your not doing anything tonight? No? Excelelnt, then let's go on a murderous rampage and kill people roaming the streets.
Sheep: Oh, ok alright. If that's what you want to do.
But really that is bad and you shouldn't exploite sheep like that.
You should exploite them like this :)
Person A: Let's go to McDonald's on the way home.
Sheep: But Person B doesn't want to? They want hungry's.
Person A: Come on sheep, you want Maccas. If we both say we do then Person B will have to!
Sheep: Ok, bah.
Person B: Let's get going to hungry's!
Sheep: We want to go to Macca's now.
Person B: Ok, fine.
But, be careful how you exploite sheep.
Don't sheer them too often.
Bah bitches.

Confusion
Confusion.
It is an emotion felt by everyone, at some point everyday. Whether it be over some complex wording or whether it be over another person's emotions. Quite often people refer to Confusion as the second meaning. Confusion over how another person feels about one's self.
Define Confusion? "A disorder resulting from a failure to behave predictably."
But who wants to behave predictably? Behaving predictably is one of the worst ideas ever. Spontaneity is the fruit of life. Mix things up, go crazy, do wild shit you crazy child you.
Re-Define Confusion? "Disturbed orientation in regard to time, place, person or thing"
Disturbed orientation, is possible one of the best 2 word collection I've ever heard.
"I'm sorry, have I confused you?"
"No, you've just completely disturbed my orientation. Thanks"
Relationship confusion.
Possible the most frustrating kind of confusion. Really, until you ask someone exactly what they think of you you never really can be 100% sure. Even then it's still not certain, people will often lie so they don't hurt your feelings. How does that make any sense?
A: Far out I hate B, oh shit here he comes.
B: Hi A!
A: Oh hey B. How's it going bud?
If you hate someone, grow a pair and say it straight up to them. Don't bullshit liking them enough so they stop annoying you.
A: Far out I hate B, oh shit here he comes.
B: Hi A!
A: B piss off.
B: With pleasure, every moment I talk to you it feels like someone is nailing into my ear drums. So long.
Then everyone's happy? No, not happy. Satisfied. Satisfied that they have no fake friends, all of their friends are true and loyal. They may not hate person A, but they don't have to hate. They can come to a mutual feeling of dislike. I share it with many people and in certain circumstances are able to work with these people still.
Love Confusion.
The most common kind of confusion I'd say. You might say differently, but hey.
Love Confusion is caused by 'mixed signals' from either party. One person may give off the vibe that they like the other person then from there are three different things that may happen...
1. The person is a slut. A massive massive slut. They will flirt with anyone and anything. This leads to the person being dissapointed and rejected because hey, they only know how to spell 'sex' not 'relationship'. Anything over three letters is confusing for them.
2. Massively Mixed Signals. While you may think the other person is indeed interested in you and you may think perhaps a relationship is forming, it is not unfortunately. The other person has not realised you felt that way and now that you have expressed it partially they no longer talk to you like they used to, or at all.
3. Love. When you most admirably express your feelings, they too express their feelings for you also. And then, well you know the rest. First comes loves, then comes marriage, then comes the baby in the golden carriage, right?
Confusion really only occurs in the first two, but in order to succeed and find a number three you must first endure a series of ones and two's and most likely a whole bunch of other shit. Agreed? Yes, good.
Confusion.
Re-define confusion?
When you don't know what else to feel, when you're lost, when you're unaware.

The Awkwardness of So.
So,
is a terrible word. Oly due to the fact people use it. "So" can be a window to a whole new world or conversational possibilities. Often people indulge in "So" when a conversation may have turned awkward or died all together. The conversation follows as such,
Person A: Aahh...mm... So?
Person B: So..
Person B has now trapped person A. If person A were to retort "So" then only then would they not be making conversation. Person B now has the right to get mad at person A for not thinking of something to say, when in reality person B should have thought of a conversational topic and thus started talking about it.
Why is it that each person is allowed to say "So" once but the second they say it more than once they have over stepped the boundaries of "So". I guess my advice is to use the power of "So" wisely. If caught in a conversation with someone who says "So" simply turn left, then sprint 100 yards, turn back to your Person A and yell,"SO WHAT DICK" then continue to run.
